Safety & Child Protection Policy

1. Our safety approach

AttahChat combines user controls, reporting, automated systems, and human review to help keep the community safe. No system is perfect, so we encourage everyone to use available tools and report concerns.

2. Child safety

AttahChat does not allow content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. We may apply additional protections to accounts belonging to minors and may require age verification where reasonably necessary.

• Report any suspected child exploitation immediately
• Age-gated features may apply to younger users
• We report suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law

3. Harassment and bullying

You can block users, restrict who can message you, and report sustained harassment. AttahChat may act against accounts that repeatedly target others.

4. Self-harm

If you or someone you know is struggling, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. AttahChat may remove content that encourages self-harm and provide resources where possible.

5. Privacy tools

• Public, connections-only, or private profiles
• Block and mute other users
• Control who can send you messages
• Manage read receipts and online visibility

6. Reporting

Use in-app reporting to flag content, messages, or accounts. Reports should be made honestly and in good faith. False or abusive reporting may itself violate our policies.

7. Account security

Protect your account with a strong credential and, where available, two-factor authentication. AttahChat will never ask for your password.

8. Moderation and appeals

AttahChat may remove content or restrict accounts to protect users and comply with the law. Where required, users will receive information about significant actions and may appeal.
